DBERR publishes 15 draft regulations and orders for consultation

As promised, DBERR has made available on its website 15 draft regulations and orders relating to the implementation of the Companies Act 2006 in 2008.

The regulations, which also include draft impact assessments and the Governments response to previous consultation in the relevant areas, supplement the Companies Act 2006 provisions in the following areas:
  • Accounts;
  • Particulars of company charges;
  • Annual returns and service addresses;
  • Trading disclosures;
  • Company records and fees;
  • Particulars of usual residential address;
  • Disclosure of auditor's remuneration; and
  • Powers of the Registrar of Companies.
Comments are invited by 30 September 2007.

Still outstanding are the regulations to amend Table A with effect from 1 October 2007. These are expected shortly.
