	Untitled Document Companies Act final commencement timetable announced The Government has announced details of the final commencement timetable for the Companies Act 2006. The timetable, which includes a revised table of commencement dates, provides details of the provisions which will take effect from 1 October 2008. A fifth commencement order is due to be made the week of 17 December 2007, and this will detail all of the provisions to take effect in 2008 apart from capital reduction provisions, which will be the subject of a separate commencement order to be drafted in 2008. There will also be a separate commencement order on the audit of small charitable companies. A full written statement on these developments, a revised table of commencement dates and the final commencement timetable are available via the BERR website.
