Supporting evidence for online company formations
From April 2010 Companies House will only accept supporting evidence electronically for online company formations.

Until then supporting evidence should be submitted as part of the electronic process wherever possible.

If it is not possible supporting evidence must be on letterhead paper and contain relevant information and signatures. This is to be sent at the same time as the formation.
